Managing Director – Bermuda Operations

About the role

Acumen Group is looking for an experienced Managing Director to lead and expand its Bermuda operations. This senior leadership position will oversee consulting and contractor teams, drive growth of the insurance management business, and generate new business across all service lines.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Acumen’s Bermuda business as the senior local representative.
• Manage and develop the consulting and contractor workforce, including recruitment, deployment, utilisation and client relationship management.
• Ensure high‑quality client service and operational performance across all business lines.
• Drive the growth of the insurance management practice by identifying opportunities, leveraging industry relationships and maintaining regulator and stakeholder connections.
• Generate new business across consulting, outsourced finance, insurance management, payroll, corporate services and governance solutions.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts and business plans, monitor financial performance and negotiate client contracts.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant designation (CA, CPA, ACA, ACCA, etc.).
• Significant Bermuda insurance industry experience.
• Proven track record within an insurance management company, captive manager, reinsurer, insurer or related financial services organisation.
