Part-Time Cash Clerk – Accounting Support

About the role

We are looking for a reliable, detail‑oriented Cash Clerk to support our busy Accounting team on a part‑time basis. The role involves handling cash transactions, reconciling daily cash flows, and providing operational support to ensure accurate financial records.

Key responsibilities

• Verify daily cash drops and investigate any discrepancies.
• Prepare and process due‑backs, change orders, and bank deposits.
• Manage petty‑cash reimbursements and employee float balances.
• Issue cash floats to staff and reconcile floats from departing employees.
• Order bus tokens and transportation passes, and collect passes when needed.
• Provide additional cash‑control assistance to the Accounting department as required.

Required profile

• High level of integrity, discretion, and trustworthiness.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic math and cash‑reconciliation abilities.
• Organizational and time‑management skills.
• Reliable local transportation for occasional trips to the bank.
• Previous experience in cash handling, cashiering, retail cash office, banking, or similar preferred.
