Sous Chef – Luxury Hotel Kitchen

About the role

Fairmont Southampton is seeking a motivated Sous Chef to join its award‑winning culinary team. In this hands‑on leadership position you will support the Executive Sous Chef and Executive Chef in delivering high‑quality, creative dishes across multiple outlets in a high‑volume, fast‑paced resort environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Executive Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations and independently manage assigned outlets.
• Provide operational support for banquets, special events, and multiple restaurant concepts as business needs dictate.
• Maintain the highest standards of food quality, consistency, creativity, and presentation.
• Stay fully knowledgeable of all menus, seasonal features, specials, and promotional offerings.
• Ensure smooth kitchen service during peak periods, delivering timely and efficient food production.
• Uphold Fairmont and Accor brand standards as well as LQA quality standards.

• Strong culinary expertise with a proven track record in a luxury hospitality setting.
• Demonstrated leadership ability to inspire and develop kitchen staff.
