Discover Bermuda Support Executive – Destination Management

About the role

The Discover Bermuda Support Executive will assist the Discover Bermuda Managers in planning and delivering luxury group, incentive and customized destination programs for Fairmont Southampton, Bermuda’s largest resort.

Key responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of group and incentive programs, including transportation, excursions, dine‑arounds and off‑site events.
• Prepare and maintain itineraries, manifests, schedules, guest lists and other operational documentation.
• Coordinate airport arrivals, meet‑and‑greet services, luggage handling and guest transportation.
• Communicate program changes promptly to managers, suppliers and resort departments and arrange contingencies for weather or transport disruptions.
• Respond to guest, client and meeting‑planner requests, provide recommendations on Bermuda experiences and support site inspections.
• Liaise with transportation providers, tour operators, venues, guides, entertainers and activity providers, maintaining accurate availability and pricing.
• Assist sales and events teams with proposals, itineraries, costings and post‑program reconciliation.

Required profile

• 1–2 years experience in tourism, destination management, events or group travel, preferably with knowledge of Bermuda’s attractions.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Event Management, Business or equivalent experience.
• Exceptional organization, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive, solutions‑focused attitude.
• Valid driver’s licence is an asset and flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using hotel, event or reservation management systems.
