Casualty & Healthcare Insurance Broker

About the role

Marsh Risk is looking for an experienced Casualty/Healthcare Broker to join its team in Hamilton. This hybrid position requires you to work on‑site at least three days a week while managing a portfolio of Fortune 1000 and major US healthcare clients.

Key responsibilities

• Place casualty and healthcare insurance programs in the Bermuda market for large corporate clients.
• Assess client needs, develop risk solutions, and negotiate optimal terms with insurers.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities and maintain relationships with global Marsh offices.
• Prepare high‑quality submissions, oversee policy management, and ensure policy documents match bound terms.
• Mentor junior team members and act as a role model within the practice.
• Stay informed on market trends, benchmark new sales, and participate in presentations and negotiations.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of casualty and/or healthcare broking experience in Bermuda or the international market.
• Proven ability to handle complex client assignments independently.
• Strong organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize during busy periods.
• Willingness to work beyond normal office hours to meet tight deadlines.
