Client Service Director

About the role

As the Client Service Director at Artex, you will lead a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring the delivery of high‑quality, timely services while acting as the primary point of contact for client engagement. Based in Bermuda, you will work closely with client service teams, senior managers and external partners to uphold the company’s standards of excellence and drive client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for client engagement and ensure high‑quality, timely delivery of all required services.
• Resolve client complaints promptly and participate in client board meetings.
• Oversee client servicing teams to maintain consistent approaches and high standards.
• Manage client relationships, stewardship, and allocation management.
• Handle financial management including budgeting, forecasting, expense control and payment processing.
• Manage outsourced relationships, approve fee quotes and oversee outsourced activities.
• Contribute to business development strategy, profitability analysis and pricing optimisation.
• Maintain key service‑provider relationships with auditors, consultants, asset managers and actuarial firms.
• Collaborate with sales and revenue‑generation initiatives.
• Review and approve board packs, plan board‑meeting strategy and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead licensing processes, prepare business plans for the BMA and review annual returns.
• Lead, coach and develop members of the Captive Management team.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in client services or risk‑management environments.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting and expense management.
• Deep understanding of governance, risk and compliance requirements in the financial services sector.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, capable of representing the firm at board level.
• Ability to drive business‑development initiatives and optimise pricing strategies.
