Corporate Lawyer – Associate (Corporate Team)

About the role

We are partnering with an international law firm headquartered in Bermuda to recruit an Associate for its highly regarded Corporate team. The role offers significant responsibility, direct client exposure and the chance to work closely with partners and colleagues across a global network.

Key responsibilities

• Advise domestic and international clients on complex public and private M&A transactions.
• Structure and execute equity capital raisings and navigate public equity markets.
• Draft and negotiate joint venture agreements, shareholders’ agreements and other corporate documentation.
• Provide counsel on corporate governance, continuations and discontinuations.
• Take day‑to‑day responsibility for matters, acting as the primary point of contact for clients.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.

Required profile

• 5+ years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in corporate law.
• Strong corporate law background with a track record of handling complex transactions.
• Excellent academic record.
• Analytical mindset and high technical proficiency.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Flexible, collaborative team player.
