Director, Corporate Development & Pricing

About the role

We are seeking a technically strong and business‑minded professional to join our Corporate Development team. In this high‑impact position you will apply advanced modeling and financial analysis to evaluate reinsurance and M&A deals, support pricing strategy, and collaborate across the enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Lead diligence, structuring, and underwriting of new reinsurance and M&A opportunities.
• Build and maintain pricing and rate‑setting models for non‑guaranteed contract elements and new business flow arrangements.
• Evaluate and model transactions, combining technical financial and regulatory knowledge with creative problem‑solving.
• Prepare presentation materials for executive teams, investment committees, boards, investors, rating agencies, and regulators.
• Support financial reporting, valuation, and risk‑management teams with actuarial model development, controls, and processes.
• Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments across jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with functional areas to support overall enterprise growth and priority execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, economics, finance, business or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in insurance or finance with expertise in pricing, liability management, and investment analysis.
• Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) or equivalent is preferred but not required.
