Events Concierge

About the role

Join Fairmont Southampton’s luxury hospitality team as an Events Concierge. You will act as the primary on‑site point of contact for meeting planners, ensuring every event runs flawlessly and exceeds guest expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the dedicated on‑site Events contact for meeting planners during assigned events, collaborating closely with the Event Manager.
• Maintain knowledge of VIPs, key client contacts and special program requirements to deliver personalized recognition and service.
• Review Banquet Event Orders, group resumes, agendas and other event details to anticipate client needs.
• Inspect meeting rooms and public areas to confirm setups, signage, cleanliness and presentation meet hotel and client standards.
• Monitor meetings, breaks, room refreshes and room turns, ensuring smooth execution throughout the event.
• Respond promptly to changes, last‑minute requests and service concerns with a calm, solutions‑focused approach.
• Build strong relationships with meeting planners through proactive communication and personalized service.
