Experienced Tax Staff – Wealth & Asset Management

About the role

Join EY's Financial Services Office (FSO) as an experienced tax professional focused on wealth and asset management. You will work with multi‑disciplinary teams serving clients in hedge funds, mutual funds and private equity across the Bahamas, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands and Cayman Islands.

Key responsibilities

• Perform tax compliance and advisory work for wealth and asset management clients.
• Collaborate with seniors through partners on domestic federal, international, state and local tax matters.
• Develop and implement tax strategies that align with client business objectives.
• Prepare tax compliance accounts for hedge funds, mutual funds and private equity funds.
• Identify key tax technical issues and raise appropriate questions before review.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or an advanced degree in tax or law.
• Minimum 12 months of relevant tax experience.
• CPA, Enrolled Agent or LLM certification preferred; non‑certified hires must obtain certification before promotion.
• Experience serving wealth and asset management clients is a strong advantage.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
