Finance Analyst – Bermuda Operations

About the role

RGA is seeking a Finance Analyst to join its growing Bermuda team. Reporting to the Bermuda Chief Financial Officer, you will support high‑profile finance and regulatory initiatives while gaining exposure to the global reinsurance business.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive finance management reports and Board presentations for senior leadership and the Board of Directors of RGA’s Bermuda‑registered entities.
• Assist in the creation of materials, presentations and reports required by the Bermuda Monetary Authority and the Registrar of Companies.
• Lead and coordinate finance‑related projects, ensuring timely delivery and effective stakeholder communication across Bermuda and other RGA offices.
• Develop, monitor and analyse the operating expense budget, providing ongoing variance analysis and investigative reviews.
• Support the design and implementation of entity‑specific internal control frameworks in line with international and local standards.
• Maintain awareness of regulatory changes, attend relevant conferences and industry events as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• Post‑graduate or professional qualification in a related discipline is preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in finance, financial auditing or regulatory supervision within the Bermuda insurance sector.
