Financial Reporting Transformation Lead

About the role

The Financial Reporting Transformation Lead will drive the redesign and automation of the Group's financial reporting processes. This senior position ensures reporting is efficient, accurate, and compliant while supporting the adoption of modern finance technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Review, optimise and standardise Group financial reporting processes to improve efficiency, controls and quality.
• Lead automation initiatives and streamline workflows to reduce manual effort and enhance accuracy and timeliness.
• Support implementation and optimisation of reporting solutions such as Workiva/wData, Power BI, Alteryx and related finance technologies.
• Translate business and reporting requirements into scalable solutions that strengthen data integrity and governance.
• Develop and maintain documentation for reporting processes, data flows, controls and user procedures.
• Ensure governance, audit trails, compliance and risk management are embedded in all reporting activities.
• Lead stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, training and change‑management activities for new tools and processes.
• Monitor project delivery, manage risks and issues, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification preferred (CPA, CA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Strong experience in financial reporting, finance transformation, process improvement or finance systems implementation.
• Background in a complex, multi‑entity, regulated or global business environment.
• Deep understanding of reporting cycles, reconciliations, internal controls and audit requirements.
• Proven ability to document processes, assess risks, design controls and deliver practical improvements.
• Experience in insurance, reinsurance or financial services is a plus.
• Excellent organisational, project‑management and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
