Hospitality Accounting Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Hospitality Accounting Manager who embodies The Loren’s philosophy of precision, integrity, and thoughtful stewardship of financial operations. The role supports the guest experience by ensuring the accounting foundation behind the hotel, residences, and rental program is accurate, disciplined, and aligned with luxury hospitality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with USALI.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Analyze P&L variances against budget/forecast and provide commentary to senior management.
• Oversee daily revenue reconciliation from front office, F&B, and other outlets, and review night audit reports.
• Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including vendor payments and credit collections.
• Coordinate payroll processing with HR and monitor labor costs against budget.
• Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, cash‑flow projections, and capital‑expenditure planning.
• Ensure internal controls, compliance with local tax regulations, and coordinate external/internal audits.
• Foster cross‑departmental collaboration and mentor finance team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, with 2–3 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
• Strong background in hotel or hospitality accounting, including USALI reporting.
• Hands‑on experience with month‑end close, revenue recognition, and payroll processing.

Required skills

• USALI and hospitality‑specific accounting practices.
• Proficiency with M3, Opera, Simphony, and M3 PAS.
• Experience using Sage Intacct, Oracle NetSuite, QuickBooks, and Infor HMS.
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modelling).
• Solid understanding of GAAP and financial statement preparation.
