International Tax Manager – Financial Services Office

About the role

EY is seeking an International Tax Manager to join its Financial Services Office (FSO). You will work with multidisciplinary teams across the globe, focusing on capital gains taxation, withholding requirements and related regulatory and financial‑statement obligations for a diverse portfolio of clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate engagements dealing with global capital gains tax, including withholding and reporting requirements.
• Develop and maintain client relationships while collaborating with internal EY resources across multiple locations.
• Coach and mentor junior team members.
• Oversee day‑to‑day engagement activities and ensure seamless coordination with clients and EY internal teams.
• Perform thorough reviews of trading reports, tax rules, legal documents and financial statements to assess tax exposures.
• Analyze financial statements for tax character, identify book‑to‑tax differences and advise on tax provisions and valuation allowances.
• Identify key tax technical issues, raise appropriate questions and consult senior staff before final review.

Required profile

• Highly organized with strong prioritisation skills when handling multiple clients.
• Ability to conduct detailed reviews of tax‑related documents and financial statements.
• Strong analytical mindset to identify tax exposures and book‑to‑tax differences.
• Proven experience managing engagements and coaching junior staff.
