LPG Driver & Plant Attendant

About the role

The role involves safely operating SOL Petroleum's vehicles to deliver LPG cylinders across Bermuda, collecting payments, and supporting truck attendants as needed. The incumbent must follow all road transport regulations and company safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver LPG cylinders and bulk loads to customer sites island‑wide, ensuring secure loading and transport.
• Transport goods from Customs to the company compound when required.
• Complete daily vehicle checklists, defect reports, and LPG bulk customer site checklists.
• Report any vehicle incidents immediately to the Operations Supervisor.
• Collect and submit accurate funds to the Depot Clerk each day.
• Assist with shifting and stacking LPG cylinders at depots and retail sites.
• Participate in HSE meetings, toolbox talks, emergency drills, and hazard identification programs.

Required profile

• Secondary education with at least three CXC passes, including Mathematics and English.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude with experience driving heavy goods vehicles.
• Possession of a penalty‑free heavy goods vehicle licence.
• Well‑organized, safety‑focused, and able to work effectively in a team.
