LPG Driver/Plant Attendant

About the role

The LPG Driver/Plant Attendant will safely operate SOL Petroleum’s vehicles to deliver LPG cylinders across Bermuda, collect payments, and support depot operations. The role requires strict adherence to road‑transport regulations, company policies, and local safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver LPG cylinders and bulk loads to customer sites island‑wide.
• Transport goods from Customs to the company compound when required.
• Complete daily vehicle checklists and defect reports.
• Report any vehicle incidents immediately to the Operations Supervisor.
• Collect and submit accurate funds to the Depot Clerk each day.
• Secure cylinders on vehicles, assist with shifting and stacking at depots and retail sites.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and condition.
• Complete LPG bulk customer site checklists and provide feedback on rack conditions.
• Participate in HSE meetings, toolbox talks, emergency drills, and hazard identification programs.

Required profile

• Secondary education with at least three CXC passes, including Mathematics and English.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Experience driving heavy‑goods vehicles.
• Penalty‑free heavy‑goods vehicle driving licence.
