Overnight Guest Service Manager

About the role

The Overnight Guest Service Manager leads the front‑office operations during the night shift at Hamilton Princess & Beach Club, ensuring seamless check‑in/check‑out, accurate accounting and exceptional guest experiences throughout the overnight period.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all night‑time front office activities, including guest arrivals, departures and billing.
• Perform end‑of‑day financial reconciliation and produce accurate nightly reports.
• Handle guest requests, complaints and special needs promptly, delegating to night bellmen, engineering or security as required.
• Log guest comments in the Royal Service system and prepare a summary for the morning briefing.
• Supervise and train night bellmen, night auditor and other contracted overnight staff.
• Monitor the overnight cleaning team to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Ensure compliance with all front office policies, grooming standards and health‑safety procedures.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with a professional and courteous demeanor.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Leadership experience in a hospitality or front‑office environment.
• Ability to work independently during night hours and make decisive decisions.

Required skills

• Knowledge of front‑office accounting and reconciliation processes.
• Familiarity with hotel property management systems (e.g., Royal Service).
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting.
