HVAC Technician

About the role

A luxury boutique hotel in Bermuda is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join its engineering and maintenance team. The role offers a salary of $72,000 and includes health insurance, subsidized housing, and relocation assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and repair HVAC systems throughout the hotel
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and HVAC‑related issues
• Respond to maintenance requests and minimize equipment downtime
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow safety procedures
• Support the engineering team with general property maintenance as needed
• Help ensure the hotel maintains the highest standards of comfort, safety, and operational efficiency

Required profile

• Previous HVAC Technician or similar engineering experience
• Hospitality, hotel, or resort experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical HVAC issues
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance and respond quickly to service requests
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and building maintenance standards
• Organized, dependable, and hands‑on
• Ability to work independently while supporting the broader engineering team
• Strong guest‑service mindset and professional communication skills
