Part‑Time Host/Hostess at Luxury Resort

About the role

The Host/Hostess provides front‑of‑house service in a luxury resort setting, greeting guests, escorting them to their tables and supporting the food‑and‑beverage team. Reporting to the Outlet Maitre‑D/Manager and the Director of Food & Beverage, the role is part‑time and focuses on delivering professional, proactive guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, escort them to their assigned tables and present menus.
• Assist guests with food and beverage menu items, providing informative and helpful recommendations.
• Maintain a neat, visually pleasing work area and ensure menus are stocked before each shift.
• Develop knowledge of all menu items, ingredients and preparation methods.
• Follow safety, sanitation and health‑and‑safety policies, including epidemic‑related guidelines.
• Adhere to corporate, hotel and departmental policies and procedures.
• Participate in hotel committees and perform additional duties as required.

Required profile

• Previous service experience is strongly preferred.
• Ability to focus on guest needs while remaining calm and courteous.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to work efficiently in a demanding, fast‑paced environment.
• Strong work ethic, reliability and willingness to work shifts, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
