Public Area Cleaner (including Dormitories)

About the role

Join the Housekeeping team at Fairmont Southampton, Bermuda’s largest resort, as a Public Area Cleaner. You will be responsible for keeping all public spaces and staff dormitory areas spotless, ensuring a luxurious experience for guests and colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain lobbies, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and other shared areas.
• Maintain cleanliness in staff dormitory hallways and bathrooms.
• Perform sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, polishing, and sanitising of all surfaces.
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles and follow proper waste‑disposal procedures.
• Restock public‑area and dormitory supplies such as toiletries and sanitation products.
• Monitor cleanliness throughout shifts and proactively refresh areas to meet presentation standards.
• Respond promptly, courteously, and professionally to guest and colleague requests.

Required profile

• Ability to report to the Assistant Director, Housekeeping.
• Commitment to maintaining exceptional cleanliness, presentation, and comfort in a luxury hospitality environment.
