Recreation Supervisor

About the role

Fairmont Southampton is seeking a Recreation Supervisor to manage the day‑to‑day operations of its extensive recreation facilities, including the Beach Club, spa pool, golf area, resort pools, and kids’ camp. Reporting to the Recreation Manager, you will help create safe, clean, and engaging experiences for guests while supporting the development of innovative programs.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of all recreation venues (Beach Club, Spa Pool, Golf, Resort Pools, Kids’ Camp).
• Conduct daily inspections and train staff to maintain safety, cleanliness, and hygiene standards.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements across all areas.
• Provide the Recreation team with necessary resources, equipment, and guest amenities.
• Assist the Recreation Manager in designing, implementing, and evaluating recreational programs and seasonal events.
• Contribute ideas for holiday activities and monitor guest satisfaction with recreation services.

Required profile

• Proven ability to lead and mentor a recreation team.
• Strong focus on operational standards and safety compliance.
• Experience in a hospitality or resort environment, preferably with pool, beach, or spa facilities.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
