Senior Associate – Corporate (Bermuda)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Associate to join our corporate team in Bermuda. The role involves handling a broad spectrum of corporate matters for global clients, ranging from mergers and acquisitions to equity capital raising and corporate governance.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on public and private M&A, continuations, discontinuations, equity markets, shareholders' agreements, joint ventures and corporate governance.
• Manage day‑to‑day conduct of files and act as the primary point of contact for clients.
• Provide technically sound, responsive advice and support the development of client relationships.
• Collaborate with colleagues and partners, leveraging the firm’s global network.
• Maintain revenue generation, adhere to billing rates, manage costs and meet utilization targets.
• Uphold firm values, professional ethics and contribute to practice knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Bermuda‑qualified or Commonwealth lawyer with at least 5 years post‑qualification experience at a reputable law firm.
• Strong academic record and commercial drive.
• Extensive experience advising public and private companies, venture capital firms and investment funds on M&A and investment transactions.
• Proven senior‑level transactional experience, including project management of client files.
• Track record of training junior associates.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, time‑management and organisational skills.
