Senior Associate - Restructuring & Insolvency

About the role

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Restructuring & Insolvency team. You will work on high‑profile advisory and insolvency engagements, supporting senior Managing Directors across regional mid‑market and multi‑national projects.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver day‑to‑day work on a portfolio of restructuring and insolvency cases.
• Conduct cash‑flow, capital‑structure and IBR analyses for multi‑stakeholder assignments.
• Support accelerated sale processes, formal insolvency filings and contingency planning.
• Participate in business development and client targeting activities.

Required profile

• Internationally recognised qualification such as CPA, ACA or ACCA (preferred).
• Experience in a Big‑4 or large professional services firm’s restructuring/insolvency team is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Background in audit with a desire to transition into restructuring.
• Strong analytical mindset and willingness to develop restructuring expertise.
