Small Animal Veterinary Nurse – Full‑time On‑site

About the role

Endsmeet Animal Hospital is seeking a full‑time Small Animal Veterinary Nurse to join its on‑site team in Devonshire, Bermuda. The role focuses on hands‑on clinical care for dogs, cats and other companion animals, supporting veterinarians and providing compassionate client education.

Key responsibilities

• Admit patients, obtain histories and assist veterinarians during examinations.
• Handle animals safely with low‑stress techniques.
• Administer medications, place IV catheters and monitor anesthesia.
• Prepare patients and equipment for surgery and support post‑operative recovery.
• Perform laboratory tests, collect and process samples, and document results.
• Maintain accurate medical records and keep treatment areas clean and organized.
• Educate pet owners on home care, nutrition, preventive health and discharge instructions.

Required profile

• Registered or certified as an RVT, RVN, CVT or equivalent.
• Minimum three years experience in a small‑animal practice.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced clinical setting and a collaborative, patient‑centered approach.
