SVP, Chief Risk Officer, Bermuda and Head of Group Corporate and Operational Risk

About the role

Everest Global Services is seeking a senior re/insurance risk professional to lead its global Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) function. Reporting to the Group CRO, you will shape a pragmatic, fit‑for‑purpose ERM framework that satisfies Bermuda Monetary Authority supervision while supporting the Group’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Define, establish and maintain a group‑wide ERM governance model, integrating first, second and third‑line risk oversight.
• Lead the global ERM team responsible for operational, emerging and third‑party risk.
• Act as the primary liaison with the Bermuda Monetary Authority and oversee risk for all Bermuda legal entities.
• Prepare and present risk reports to the Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors.
• Serve as Chief‑of‑Staff to the Group CRO, managing strategic, administrative and leadership matters.
• Partner with the Group COO to oversee risk assessments, RCSAs, operational risk heatmaps and strategic initiative reviews.
• Coordinate with Legal & Compliance, IT (cyber risk) and Internal Audit on second‑line risk functions.

Required profile

• Extensive senior‑level experience in re/insurance risk management, preferably within a global organization.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing enterprise risk frameworks.
• Strong understanding of Bermuda regulatory expectations and supervisory processes.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence executive leadership.
