US Tax Manager – Corporate/International (Bermuda)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a US Tax Manager to lead a portfolio of key financial services clients in Bermuda. You will ensure high‑quality tax engagement delivery, stay current with US tax regulations, and leverage emerging technologies to enhance service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of corporate and international US tax clients, primarily in the financial services sector.
• Lead tax engagements, develop tax strategies, and oversee the preparation and filing of US tax returns.
• Liaise with client staff to ensure compliance with US tax regulations.
• Train and mentor team members on tax tools, new technologies, and regulatory updates.
• Drive well‑being, sustainability, and community initiatives aligned with Deloitte’s shared values.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent qualification (e.g., ACCA).
• Professional designation allowing practice before the US IRS (US‑state CPA, attorney, or IRS Enrolled Agent).
• Minimum 5 years of tax service experience in a professional services firm or large law/accounting organization.
• Strong knowledge of US tax regulations and experience with corporate/international tax matters.
