Verbal Behavior Therapist

About the role

Our landmark facility in Bermuda specializes in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Verbal Behavior therapy for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders and Developmental Disabilities. We are seeking a Verbal Behavior Therapist to provide one‑on‑one treatment across ages 2‑21 and beyond.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver daily one‑on‑one ABA/Verbal Behavior therapy sessions to clients aged 2‑21 and adults.
• Develop and implement individualized behavioral strategies for clients and their families across centre, home, community and school settings.
• Collaborate with senior Verbal Behavior Therapists, senior staff and the Executive Director to ensure treatment fidelity.

Required profile

• Commit to a minimum of two years in the role.
• Hands‑on experience delivering ABA therapy with a strong focus on B.F. Skinner’s analysis of verbal behavior.
• Proficiency using the ABLLS and VB‑MAPP assessment and curriculum tools.
• Solid understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis principles and Verbal Behavior concepts.
• Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum and other developmental disabilities.
