About the role

The Welcome Ambassador Supervisor leads the day‑to‑day operations of the Welcome Ambassador team at Fairmont Southampton, Bermuda’s flagship resort. Reporting to the Guest Service Manager, this role shapes first impressions, ensures seamless guest arrivals and departures, and brings the resort’s unique story to life for every visitor.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a vibrant ambassador, sharing the history and character of Fairmont Southampton with guests.
• Assist guests with luggage handling, wayfinding, transportation arrangements, and provide resort and destination information.
• Support check‑in processes during peak periods to maintain smooth lobby flow.
• Anticipate guest needs, resolve concerns promptly, and create memorable experiences.
• Coordinate arrivals, departures, lobby traffic, and front‑drive operations.
• Utilise hotel communication tools such as radios, messaging platforms, and the OPERA property management system.
• Engage guests with detailed knowledge of the property’s amenities, history, and local attractions.
