Advisory Manager

About the role

PWC is seeking an Advisory Manager to lead a diverse portfolio of client‑facing assignments across insolvency, restructuring, investigations, M&A, valuations and other corporate advisory matters. The role combines commercial judgement, financial analysis and PwC methodologies to help clients evaluate options, manage risk and achieve successful outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day activities and deliverables for insolvency, restructuring, investigations, M&A, valuations and related advisory engagements.
• Prepare high‑quality reports, presentations and other client‑facing documents.
• Manage relationships with clients, creditors, regulators and external advisers such as consultants, auditors, actuaries and lawyers.
• Plan and manage engagements, including scope, timelines, budgets and profitability while ensuring risk‑management and quality standards.
• Coordinate with PwC teams globally and engage subject‑matter specialists.
• Coach junior team members, provide feedback and deliver internal training.
• Leverage technology and digital tools, including GenAl, to enhance delivery and profitability.
• Support business development by identifying opportunities, preparing proposals and participating in pitches.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, CA, ACA or ACCA (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a Big 4 or consulting environment.
• Demonstrated experience in insolvency, restructuring or distressed advisory engagements.
• Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical abilities for problem‑solving and strategic decision‑making.
