Captain / First Officer - Embraer 175/190

About the role

BermudAir, a growing airline based in Bermuda, is hiring experienced and knowledgeable Captains and First Officers for its Embraer 175 and 190 fleet. The crew plays a key role in the safe and efficient operation of flights and in delivering an excellent customer experience, working closely with colleagues on pre-flight inspections, flight planning and aircraft operation.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and security of passengers and crew during flights
• Perform pre-flight inspections of the aircraft and its systems
• Operate the aircraft in line with all applicable regulations and procedures
• Communicate with air traffic control to keep operations safe and efficient
• Provide exceptional customer service and address passenger concerns
• Assist in emergencies, including evacuations and medical incidents
• Work with the whole flight crew for smooth, coordinated operations

Required profile

• Captain: current ICAO ATPL, 3,000 total hours, three years as a pilot in command on USA Part 121, 125 or 135 operations (or equivalent), and 1,000 hours in command on Embraer 175 or 190
• First Officer: current ICAO CPL, 1,000 total hours, 500 hours as second-in-command on Embraer 175 or 190
• Current LPC on Embraer 175 or 190; employer or civil aviation authority letter with no incidents or accidents
• Level 6 language proficiency, four-year university degree or equivalent experience
• Able to pass a background check meeting USA TSA requirements and to travel extensively without passport or visa restrictions
