Director, Catering & Outlet Sales

About the role

Fairmont Southampton is seeking a dynamic Director to lead its catering and outlet sales operations. Reporting to the Director of Events, you will be the commercial champion for luxury events, destination weddings, and food‑and‑beverage experiences across Bermuda.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a commercial strategy for local catering, destination weddings, social events, private dining and outlet sales to meet revenue, market share and profitability targets.
• Lead the growth of the Bermuda catering market, generating business across corporate, financial services, insurance, association, government, community and social segments.
• Design and drive the resort’s destination‑wedding sales strategy, targeting both Bermuda and key international source markets.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with corporate decision‑makers, partners and repeat clients.
• Position Fairmont Southampton as the market leader for luxury events and premium food‑and‑beverage experiences.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in hospitality sales, preferably within luxury hotels or resorts.
• Demonstrated ability to generate new business and grow existing accounts in diverse market segments.
• Strong leadership and commercial acumen with a track record of meeting revenue targets.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills with corporate and private clients.
