Duchess Coffee Shop Manager

About the role

The Duchess Coffee Shop at Hamilton Princess & Beach Club, Bermuda's luxury urban resort, is looking for a full-time manager reporting to the Assistant Director of F&B. The role leads the café team, manages day-to-day operations and ensures an exceptional guest dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver professional, proactive guest service and recommend food and beverage pairings to guests
• Lead and coach the café team, manage colleague performance and hold daily and monthly team briefings
• Manage daily venue operations, respond to enquiries promptly and act on guest feedback
• Keep work areas clean, follow cash-handling procedures and assist with weekly payroll and scheduling
• Provide operational support and coverage across the espresso bar, food prep, cold bar, customer service and food service areas
• Handle inventory, submit maintenance requests, operate outlet equipment safely and comply with health and safety regulations

Required profile

• Hospitality degree or 2 years of F&B experience in an upscale, high-volume establishment; luxury hotel experience strongly preferred
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience
• Fluent English, professional appearance and excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Strong organisational skills, able to work under pressure and on split shifts, evenings, weekends and public holidays
