Line Station Engineer – E170/E190

About the role

BermudAir is hiring two Line Station Engineers for its E170/E190 department in Bermuda, reporting to the Head of Maintenance / Technical Operations. The role provides safe, compliant and effective line maintenance support for the fleet, working closely with MCC, CAMO, Technical Operations, flight crews and maintenance providers. The roster is 28 days on, 28 days off.

Key responsibilities

• Scheduled and unscheduled line maintenance on BermudAir aircraft
• Aircraft troubleshooting, defect diagnosis and rectification
• Certification of maintenance within company authorisation privileges
• Transit, daily and routine line-maintenance activity
• Support investigation of recurring and repetitive defects
• AOG response and aircraft recovery support
• Coordinate with MCC, CAMO, Logistics, flight crews and approved maintenance providers
• Complete maintenance documentation and technical records accurately
• Support away-station engineering when required, including AOG, charter and freighter coverage

Required profile

• ICAO-recognised Aircraft Maintenance Engineer licence
• Embraer E170/E190 type training and type rating appropriate to the duties and company authorisation
• Recent E170/E190 line-maintenance experience
• Operational airline maintenance experience
• Ability to obtain the required BermudAir company authorisation
• B1/B2 or equivalent ICAO privileges advantageous; Airbus A220 knowledge is a distinct advantage
