Senior Finance Analyst – Bermuda Reinsurance

About the role

The Senior Finance Analyst will join the Bermuda Finance team of Global Atlantic Financial Company Bermuda Limited. The role supports the reinsurance companies and the Institutional business segment by delivering accounting, control, and regulatory reporting functions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare regulatory reporting on US GAAP, US Statutory, Bermuda Statutory and Bermuda Economic balance‑sheet bases for multiple reinsurers.
• Execute control processes and ensure completeness and accuracy of financial information and regulatory filings.
• Perform monthly and quarterly closing procedures, track data availability, review variances, and produce control and flash reports.
• Prepare reconciliations and validate information provided by internal sources.
• Monitor results, generate exception reports and fluctuation analyses to meet stakeholder timeframes and reporting standards.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in finance or accounting within insurance/reinsurance environments.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, US Statutory and Bermuda statutory reporting requirements.
• Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines and ensure high data quality.
