About the role

Join the award‑winning Fairmont Southampton resort as a Spa Receptionist and become the first point of contact for guests seeking a premium spa experience. You will deliver warm, professional service while supporting the daily administrative and operational functions of the spa.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome spa guests warmly, creating a relaxing first impression.
• Answer inquiries about services, treatments, facilities and packages.
• Manage check‑in and check‑out procedures with accuracy and efficiency.
• Book, confirm and adjust appointments using the spa scheduling system.
• Coordinate therapist schedules to optimise treatment room usage.
• Process payments, retail purchases and gift certificates in line with spa procedures.
• Maintain accurate guest records, appointment details and daily reports.
• Anticipate guest needs and resolve concerns promptly to ensure a memorable experience.

• Excellent communication skills and a polished, professional demeanor.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced luxury environment.
• Team‑oriented attitude with flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a spa scheduling system for appointment management.
• Experience handling cash, credit transactions and gift‑certificate processing.
• Basic computer literacy (email, MS Office or equivalent).
