Evening Room Attendant – Luxury Resort

About the role

Join the luxury hospitality team at Fairmont Southampton as an Evening Room Attendant, reporting to the Assistant Director of Housekeeping. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality turndown service and evening room preparation, ensuring guest rooms are clean, comfortable, and ready for overnight stays.

Key responsibilities

• Perform professional turndown service, including turning down beds, closing curtains, refreshing rooms, and arranging amenities according to brand standards.
• Restock toiletries, amenities, and supplies during evening service to maintain guest comfort.
• Thoroughly clean and maintain assigned guest rooms: make beds, change linens, vacuum, dust, polish surfaces, and clean bathrooms to the highest standards.
• Empty trash, tidy living spaces, and address any visible soiling during evening rounds.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests for additional cleaning, amenities, or special services while respecting privacy.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or operational concerns to the supervisor or executive housekeeper.
• Maintain an organized work area, assist with special cleaning projects, and support the housekeeping team as needed.

Required profile

• Previous housekeeping or room‑attendant experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail with high cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Excellent time‑management skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Professional customer‑service attitude with respect for guest privacy.
• Flexibility to work evening shifts, weekends, and holidays, and ability to meet physical demands of standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
