Resort Gardener – Grounds & Golf Course

About the role

We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Fairmont Southampton as our new Gardener. Reporting to the Golf Superintendent, you will maintain the resort’s grounds, gardens and golf course to ensure a safe, inviting and picturesque environment for guests and team members.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the golf course and resort grounds, including daily mowing, watering and grooming of fairways, greens and tees.
• Apply fertilizers, pesticides and other treatments in line with safety and environmental regulations.
• Plant, trim, prune and care for flowers, shrubs, trees and other vegetation across the property.
• Operate, maintain and repair landscaping machinery, power tools and irrigation systems safely.
• Support special events, golf tournaments and resort projects that require landscaping assistance.

Required profile

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in gardening, landscaping or turf management, preferably in a luxury hotel, resort or golf‑course setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent; horticulture or landscaping certifications are a plus.

Required skills

• Turf management and horticulture knowledge.
• Operation of landscaping machinery, power tools and irrigation systems.
• Safe handling of fertilizers, pesticides and other chemicals.
