Events Concierge – Luxury Hospitality

About the role

Fairmont Southampton, Bermuda’s largest resort, is seeking an Events Concierge to join its award‑winning team. Reporting to the Director of Events, you will be the on‑site point of contact for meeting planners and conference guests, delivering seamless, personalized service throughout each event.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the dedicated on‑site Events contact for meeting planners, coordinating closely with the Event Manager.
• Review BEOs, agendas and event details to anticipate client needs and ensure proper room setups, signage and cleanliness.
• Monitor meetings, breaks, room turns and respond promptly to last‑minute changes or service concerns.
• Assist planners and guests with conference materials, printing, deliveries, directions and equipment handling.
• Coordinate with Banquets, Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering and external partners to resolve AV, temperature, lighting or maintenance issues.
• Maintain accurate event boards, signage and directional information throughout the venue.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 + year experience in hotel or hospitality roles such as Conference Services, Banquets or Front Office.
• High school diploma required; hospitality or business education is an asset.
• Exceptional guest‑service, interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with Opera Cloud, OSEM or comparable hotel event management systems.
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking in English.
