Financial Accounting Advisory Services Manager – FSO Assurance

About the role

EY’s Financial Services Office (FSO) is seeking a Manager for its Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) team. You will work with multidisciplinary, global teams to address complex finance and controllership challenges for clients across asset management, private equity, banking, capital markets, and insurance.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with clients on complex accounting issues and provide tailored solutions.
• Collaborate with partners, senior managers, and cross‑service‑line colleagues to influence strategy while balancing risk and client expectations.
• Ensure engagement teams fully understand each client’s unique needs, ambitions, and expectations.
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients, often requiring regular travel.
• Identify opportunities for clients to benefit from knowledge in other service areas.
• Manage performance, and drive improvements to products and processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• CPA certification.
• Minimum 5 years of audit experience in a public accounting firm.
• Strong technical writing abilities.
• Advanced knowledge of risk management.
