Houseperson – Luxury Resort

About the role

Join the Fairmont Southampton team as a Houseperson, supporting the housekeeping department in a newly renovated, 593‑room luxury resort in Bermuda. You will help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation in guest rooms and public areas, contributing to memorable guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, including vacuuming, dusting, polishing, floor stripping and waxing, and ensuring overall order.
• Keep public areas tidy and presentable at all times.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests for additional cleaning or services.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or operational concerns to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Support the team with linen delivery, cart restocking, and supply replenishment.
• Assist colleagues during peak periods, special events, and training of new team members.

Required profile

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, professional demeanor, and excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and operational protocols.
• Flexible to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
