Investment & Reporting Accountant – Bermuda Contracts

About the role

We are seeking experienced investment, reporting and operations accountants for contract assignments with Bermuda‑based insurance and reinsurance clients. The role involves supporting investment portfolios, insurance operations, and technical financial reporting functions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and account for investment portfolios.
• Support month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Prepare and review technical financial and regulatory reporting.
• Assist with investment operations and reconciliations.
• Analyze and interpret financial statements and investment performance reports.
• Work closely with finance, investment, and operational teams.
• Support insurance and reinsurance accounting activities.

Required profile

• Bermuda CPA (required).
• Proven experience as an Investment Accountant, Operations Accountant, or Technical Reporting Accountant.
• Insurance and/or reinsurance industry experience.
• Strong understanding of investment accounting principles.
• Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements, reports, and periodicals.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Available to commence assignments immediately or at short notice.
