Senior Insurance Tax Specialist – Bermuda

About the role

EY is seeking a Senior Insurance Tax Specialist to join its Financial Services Organization in Bermuda. You will work with a multidisciplinary team delivering tax compliance and advisory services to insurance, reinsurance and captive insurers across the BBC region and globally.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tax compliance and advisory services for general insurers, reinsurers and captive insurance companies.
• Manage domestic, federal, international and state‑and‑local tax matters, aligning strategies with client business objectives.
• Oversee the staffing, economics and delivery of tax engagements.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with key client personnel.
• Analyze engagement results to continuously improve service quality.

Required profile

• Strong technical knowledge of insurance tax regulations and practices.
• Proven ability to mentor and support in‑house training initiatives.
• Excellent relationship‑building and client‑service skills.
• Senior‑level experience in tax compliance for insurance entities.
