Guest Service Overnight Supervisor

About the role

Fairmont Southampton, Bermuda's largest resort, is looking for a Guest Service Overnight Supervisor. The role reports to the Guest Service Overnight Manager and oversees overnight guest services, ensures accurate night audit completion and maintains consistent luxury service throughout the overnight shift.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional overnight guest service, resolving requests and concerns promptly, and follow all Guest Services SOPs and LSOPs
• Complete end-of-day duties, reports and handover materials, and perform night audit tasks with accurate folios, postings and credit card settlements
• Conduct overnight pre-arrival checks, maintain lobby presence and monitor staffing levels
• Guide and support overnight colleagues, assist with training and service improvements, and reconcile daily revenue and posting discrepancies
• Uphold luxury service standards, assist with VIP handling and relay guest feedback to leadership
• Be trained on emergency, fire panel and security procedures and respond to alarms or incidents overnight
• Assist with switchboard tasks and other duties assigned by management

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years in Guest Services, Front Office or Night Audit, with luxury hotel experience required
• Supervisory experience is an asset
• High school diploma required; hospitality education preferred
• Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends and holidays
• Able to stand for long periods and occasionally lift 25-30 lbs

Required skills

• Proficiency in Opera PMS and Microsoft Office preferred
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
• Organized, able to multitask in an overnight environment, calm in emergencies
