Valet Attendant - Luxury Hotel Laundry & Uniforms

About the role

Fairmont Southampton, Bermuda's largest resort, is looking for a Valet Attendant who reports to the Executive Housekeeper. The role delivers laundry, dry-cleaning and uniform services for guests and colleagues, ensuring garments are handled with care, processed efficiently and returned in impeccable condition.

Key responsibilities

• Sort, inspect and document guest garments and colleague uniforms, noting fabric types, stains and special instructions
• Operate laundry and dry-cleaning equipment safely and apply cleaning, stain removal, pressing, steaming and finishing techniques
• Provide prompt, courteous service to guests and colleagues and communicate care requirements and service timelines
• Help distribute, collect and track uniforms, and monitor supplies and report shortages
• Keep accurate records, tag and package garments correctly, and report equipment issues to management
• Maintain a clean, safe workplace, comply with health, safety and chemical-handling rules, and work with Housekeeping and Laundry teams

Required profile

• 1-2 years of experience in dry cleaning, laundry or valet services, ideally in a luxury hotel
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift, push or pull up to 25-40 lbs
• Comfortable working in warm or humid conditions

• Time management and ability to work independently and in a team
