Senior Actuarial Associate – Life & Annuities

About the role

We are seeking experienced Life Actuaries for permanent and consulting positions. The successful candidate will work on a broad range of actuarial tasks, including pricing, valuation, modelling, risk analysis and regulatory reporting, with some roles focusing on a specific area of actuarial work.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain pricing models for annuity products.
• Perform valuations and financial reporting under US GAAP, Statutory or IFRS standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and support reinsurance analysis.
• Prepare regulatory and management reports using Tableau or Power BI.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver project deliverables on tight deadlines.

Required profile

• Minimum three (3) years of relevant actuarial experience, preferably with annuity reinsurance exposure.
• Progress towards a professional actuarial designation (3+ exams) or an Associate/Fellow level qualification.
• Experience in pricing and/or valuation of annuity products or policy blocks.
• Familiarity with financial reporting under US GAAP, Statutory or IFRS.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work multiple projects under pressure.

Required skills

• Modelling software: GGY‑AXIS, MG‑ALFA, Prophet.
• Reporting tools: Tableau, Power BI.
• Programming/coding: VBA, C+, Python, R.
• Knowledge of risk management principles.
