About the role
We are seeking experienced Life Actuaries for permanent and consulting positions. The successful candidate will work on a broad range of actuarial tasks, including pricing, valuation, modelling, risk analysis and regulatory reporting, with some roles focusing on a specific area of actuarial work.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain pricing models for annuity products.
- Perform valuations and financial reporting under US GAAP, Statutory or IFRS standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and support reinsurance analysis.
- Prepare regulatory and management reports using Tableau or Power BI.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver project deliverables on tight deadlines.
Required profile
- Minimum three (3) years of relevant actuarial experience, preferably with annuity reinsurance exposure.
- Progress towards a professional actuarial designation (3+ exams) or an Associate/Fellow level qualification.
- Experience in pricing and/or valuation of annuity products or policy blocks.
- Familiarity with financial reporting under US GAAP, Statutory or IFRS.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work multiple projects under pressure.
Required skills
- Modelling software: GGY‑AXIS, MG‑ALFA, Prophet.
- Reporting tools: Tableau, Power BI.
- Programming/coding: VBA, C+, Python, R.
- Knowledge of risk management principles.
