About the role
Prudential is seeking a Compliance Manager to support the Chief Compliance Officer in strengthening the compliance and data‑privacy function across its Bermuda operations. The role focuses on financial‑crime controls, regulatory adherence, and the implementation of privacy safeguards under the Bermuda Personal Information Protection Act 2016.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, implement and maintain compliance policies, procedures and processes for Prudential Bermuda.
- Execute compliance monitoring, testing and reporting activities to identify and mitigate risks.
- Operate financial‑crime controls, including customer due‑diligence, screening, adverse‑media reviews and transaction monitoring.
- Prepare regulatory submissions and maintain records for interactions with the Bermuda Monetary Authority.
- Provide day‑to‑day compliance guidance to internal stakeholders under the direction of the CCO.
- Support delivery and tracking of compliance training initiatives.
- Maintain compliance systems and data used for monitoring, screening and reporting.
Required profile
- 6‑8 years of experience in compliance, financial crime, risk or related roles, preferably within insurance or financial services.
- Basic knowledge of compliance requirements issued by the Bermuda Monetary Authority.
- Ability to work collaboratively with Legal, Risk, IT and business stakeholders.
