Senior Manager, Reinsurance Underwriting Analytics

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager to lead Reinsurance Underwriting Analytics. The role will drive pricing, risk assessment, and portfolio management for a growing reinsurance business, working closely with underwriting, finance, actuarial, and senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance pricing and exposure models for multiple reinsurance lines.
• Ensure pricing methodologies meet internal standards, regulatory requirements, and rating agency expectations.
• Analyze portfolio and product performance, identify trends, and deliver actionable recommendations.
• Support loss reserving for individual transactions and broader portfolios.
• Build and maintain tools for scenario testing, sensitivity analysis, and stochastic modeling.
• Present analytical findings to both technical and non‑technical audiences, clearly communicating assumptions, methodologies, and risks.
• Research emerging market trends and collaborate with industry experts to improve analytical capabilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Financial Mathematics, Economics, Finance, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in insurance, reinsurance, financial services, or a related field.
• Proven experience in pricing, risk analytics, financial modeling, or portfolio analysis.
• Strong knowledge of cash‑flow modeling, deterministic and stochastic techniques, and loss development methodologies.
• Familiarity with capital frameworks, regulatory standards, and risk‑management practices.
• Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
