US Tax Manager – Corporate/International (Bermuda)

About the role

Deloitte Bermuda is seeking a US Tax Manager to lead tax engagements for financial services clients. You will oversee the full tax engagement cycle, ensure compliance with US tax regulations, and leverage emerging technologies to deliver high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of key financial services clients, developing tax strategies and overseeing US tax return preparation and filing.
• Lead and coach tax teams, providing training on tax tools, new technologies, and US tax regulations.
• Liaise with client staff to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting.
• Participate in well‑being, sustainability, and community initiatives aligned with Deloitte’s Shared Values.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent qualification (e.g., ACCA).
• Professional designation allowing practice before the US IRS (US‑state CPA, attorney, or IRS Enrolled Agent).
• Minimum 5 years of tax service experience in a professional services firm, large law firm, or comparable organization.

Required skills

• US tax compliance knowledge.
• US tax return preparation.
• Proficiency with tax software/tools.
