About the role
PwC in Bermuda is seeking a fully qualified Property & Casualty Actuary to join its Actuarial Services practice as an Independent Contractor. The role supports the firm’s audit practice while helping to expand actuarial consulting services for a diverse client base.
Key responsibilities
- Provide audit support and actuarial consulting to insurers, including SEC registrants and captive entities.
- Supervise and mentor junior actuarial staff and advise audit teams on actuarial matters.
- Manage engagement economics to improve efficiency and profitability.
- Develop and maintain client relationships across the property and casualty sector.
Required profile
- Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (FIA) or Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) with substantial insurance industry experience.
- Proven track record in leading teams and coaching staff.
- Experience building and sustaining client relationships.
- Reserving experience across multiple P&C lines of business is desirable.
