Audit Experienced Staff – Insurance – FSO Assurance

About the role

Join EY's Financial Services Office (FSO) Insurance team as an Audit Experienced Staff member. You will work with multi‑disciplinary teams across the Bahamas, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands and Cayman Islands, helping clients meet reporting requirements and delivering insightful audit services.

Key responsibilities

• Perform audit procedures and develop client‑focused audit strategies.
• Balance time between collaborating with assurance professionals and engaging directly with clients.
• Build and maintain relationships that support tailored assurance services and new business development.
• Identify potential risks and suggest improvements to products, processes and revenue growth.
• Stay updated on business trends and emerging technologies to act as a trusted advisor.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a business discipline.
• Minimum nine (9) months of audit experience in a public accounting firm.
• Professional accounting qualification (US CPA or Canadian CPA) or actively pursuing certification.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS.
